Edward Lawrence Miller, Jr.

Edward L. Miller Jr. of Glendale, NY passed away on January 5, 2024 at the age of 92. 

He was born on June 15, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY to Edward and Josephine Miller. In 1956, he married his beloved wife, Marion, to whom he was married for 48 years. He served in the US Army and worked as a longshoreman on the piers of New York and as a baker for H.C. Bohack. 

Those who knew him would describe him as loving, dependable, and quick-witted. He was always willing to help those around him. He enjoyed a good game of cards, sitting on the stoop, and most importantly, spending time with the family that he was extremely proud of. 

Edward is preceded in death by his wife, Marion, and numerous siblings. He is survived by his children, Michael (Peggy) and Josephine Kimpel (Michael), his grandchildren, Evan Kimpel (Sarah) and Jessica Blemings (Andrew), great-granddaughter, Maeve Kimpel, and many nieces and nephews.

He will be interred in St. John Cemetery in Middle Village, NY.
